Honored in 2024 as a Top 100 Executive by the Service Industry Association, Michael (Mike) Patrick Small is the president of US operations for Adecco, a workplace recruitment firm. Responsible for profit and loss, Michael Patrick Small focuses on the company’s call centers and winning new clients. Mike Small is also a supporter of OneTen, a coalition that advocates for career opportunities for African Americans. He is a certified Microsoft partner for generative AI, a process that produces text and audio/video content.
Previously, Mr. Small served as the CEO Americas for the Sitel Group, a provider of remote customer service. Reversing the company’s earlier growth problems, he made it a global leader with a value of over $2 billion. He was promoted from chief client officer for enabling the Americas division to meet its budget for the first time in 10 years. Mr. Small came to Sitel from VXI/Symbio Global Solutions in Los Angeles, a third-party provider of business services that placed him in charge of global sales and marketing. Earlier he had business process outsourcing responsibilities in executive positions for Capgemini, Hewlett Packard, and MphasiS, as well as directing client services and other tasks for IBM in Ontario.
After earning a bachelor of arts in business from the University of Toronto, Mr. Small obtained an MBA in finance from Queens University in Kingston, Ontario. He is a board member of Omacan and the Expect Miracles Foundation. In his free time he enjoys family activities, golf, meditation, and theology.
